Manfield house is a country cottage situated on 60 acres of bush and beautiful green paddocks. Access to the island is by the mirambeena, a vehicular ferry that departs daily from kettering, 40 minutes south of hobart. Enjoy some great walks and wild life - wallabies, possums, parrots, wedge tail eagles and more. Bruny island really is the greatest place to relax, unwind and enjoy the change from the bustle of every day life. You cannot see another house enabling complete "get away from it all" privacy.iv the magnificent bruny island lies off the coast of south-eastern tasmania. Wrap around verandahs make it easy to enjoy the outdoors, maybe with a glass of wine or two, and looking at the beautiful views of both country and ocean. There are tvs in both bedrooms and a large flat screen in the lounge. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds dressed with beautiful linen. The property also has a large reverse cycle heater for cooler nights. Outside there is a great wood fired pizza oven. The wood fired stove is a lovely way to cook and keep warm. The kitchen is well equipped and you are likely to be greeted by the aroma of freshly baked bread on arrival. The house is fully furnished with good quality furniture and is able to accommodate one or two adult couples. $300 pn for a couple $45 extra p pn.
